Frequently Asked Questions

What is FAB AID?

FAB AID is a student debt relief initiative from First Aid Beauty. First Aid Beauty is committing $1 Million to pay back student loans (up to $100,000 per recipient). Applicants must fill out an application and submit a video sharing their student loan story.

Who is eligible to apply for FAB AID?

The FAB AID contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States & the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who have graduated or will graduate from an accredited undergraduate program (4-year, 2-year or trade institution) between January 2011 and August 2021. Excludes graduate school. Please see full rules for more specific details.

Why is FAB AID limited to recent graduates?

We understand that student debt is a crippling issue for so many people. FAB AID aims to impact the ability to pursue life and career aspirations in the years immediately following graduation. We heard from potential applicants in our first year of this program that they would like us to broaden who is eligible to apply. We listened and have expanded the contest to a 10-year eligibility period and have opened it up to include 2-year undergraduate programs and trade institutions.

When can I apply for FAB AID?

First Aid Beauty will be accepting applications February 9, 2021 (7am EST) – July 15, 2021 (4pm EST).

When will winners be announced?

In 2021, we will have two announcement periods: May and October. If you are not announced as a winner in May, your application will immediately roll over to the next period. All winners will be notified by October 15, 2021.

Can I apply more than once?

Each applicant is only allowed one entry.

Can I apply for someone else?

Individuals may only apply on their own behalf and must appear in their own videos. We encourage you to share the information about FAB AID with deserving friends and family members who qualify!

How will winners be selected/judged?

First Aid Beauty and a panel of judges will determine the grand prize winners based on the following judging criteria (50% each): Perseverance and Overcoming Challenges (past) and Aspirations, Goals and Dreams (future).

When was FAB AID launched?

FAB AID was launched in February 2020 to help relieve student debt. FAB AID awarded 24 winners a combined total of nearly $1.3 Million in the inaugural year.
